How to Put Together a Modeling Portfolio

When it comes to modeling, your portfolio serves as your resume and showcases your body of work. Whether you are signed to an agency or are a freelance model, putting together your portfolio is one of the most important aspects of your career.

Before even attempting to put together a modeling portfolio, it is important to know what type of modeling you can do. Freelance models have greater flexibility in this area but should focus on a main category they will receive the most work in. If you do glamour or swim wear, then those are the types of photos you should have in your portfolio. High fashion models should have high fashion images in their books (another term for portfolio). Be realistic. If you are too short for fashion, stick to commercial/print and lifestyle images.

Use magazines and other publications as reference guides for the types of images you’ll want to include in your portfolio. This will help you get an idea of the type of shoot you’ll need to set up.

For models signed to agencies, your agent will have a sit-down with you and advise you as to what types of images should be in your portfolio. They will also recommend photographers for you to work with that the agency trusts. It is in your best interest to go with the photographer referred to you by the agent. If you go outside the channels, your agent may not like the photos, resulting in a waste of time, effort and a portfolio your agent can’t use.

Freelance models can turn to online modeling communities as well as other outlets to find local photographers to work with. Be sure to look at the photographer’s work and choose one who specializes in the type of images you want to include. If you are satisfied with their work, shoot them an email or give them a call to set up a meeting or shoot.

Once you have found a photographer you want to work with, meet with him/her before your shoot to discuss the themes, concepts and/or looks you are going for. Explain what types of photos you’d like to try. From here you two can agree on locations, outfits, date, time, etc.

Make sure you have everything you need packed before your shoot so you don’t forget anything. You should have your hair and makeup professionally done as well to guarantee the best images. Agency represented models often have the comfort of having a makeup, hair and wardrobe stylist present during the portfolio shoot, while freelance models may have to do it themselves or get it done somewhere prior to the shoot.

Once you have taken your photos, it’s time to review them and pick the best. Out of the bunch you’ll want to make sure to have the following among your images: headshot, ¾ body shot, full body shot. You’ll want different outfits and locations to show diversity as well. Play with poses and give a variety…if you have the same poses over and over your portfolio will be boring.

After the key images have been selected, you can purchase a portfolio case (if your agent doesn’t provide you with one). You can find them at any office supply store and the prices range from very affordable to very expensive so you’ll be able to find on that fits within your budget. It’s best to buy one that can hold between 15-20 8″x10″ photos.

As your modeling career progresses, update your images in your portfolio to reflect your most current work. In addition to regular modeling photos, include any tearsheets you get. These are pages taken directly from the published work you have appeared in. Tearsheets are vital to a model’s portfolio because it showcases actual work, which is very impressive to clients.

TIPS

When putting your images in your portfolio, be sure to only include your best images. They each must have the “WOW” factor. If you have any doubt about an image, do not include it. Put the best images on the right side of the book (if you choose to put images on both sides of each page). The eye is naturally drawn to the right side when looking at a portfolio layout so you’ll want those images to be seen immediately by whoever is looking at it.

Include both black and white as well as color photos. Don’t include too many images in your portfolio. A safe number to stick to is between 10-15…20 max if you have done a lot of work.

Video_ How to Start a Modeling Portfolio _ eHow.com
gency represented models usually have their portfolios completely managed by the agency so there is less to deal with on that end. Freelance models act as their own agents so it is your responsibility to maintain and update your portfolio.

If you need to, freelance models specializing in more than one type of modeling category can put together a separate portfolio for each and show them to clients accordingly.

While you should show diversity in your looks and poses, don’t go overboard. If you have too many different and wild images that don’t relate to the type of modeling you do, you can confuse of overwhelm a client.

Stereotyping within photography….
As a photographer it never ceases to amaze me the stereotyping which comes along for photographers and models and even consumers wanting images to capture a portion of their life they would like to remember.
The most controversial word in my profession is “glamour” it can be taken SO many different ways;
from men’s magazine glamour to glamour make-over studio! Just from this you can see the difference in interpretation.

To me glamour means sexy, elegant and classy after all the word ‘glamour’ comes from the word “glamorous’
Both woman and men are guilty of stereo typing and labelling; for example I began my career as a glamour and commercial photographer over 20 years ago, at this time glamour was huge and both models and photographers were extremely well paid I worked for countless magazines worldwide.

As the internet began to expand it was obvious glamour was dying a slow death so I decided to make a switch to beauty and fashion.
At first I found I was not taken seriously or “labelled” as I had specialised in glamour photography therefore surely I could not shoot fashion-could I? I found this highly amusing-photography means working with light, I am a professional and know how to use lighting to capture the image required, whether the image consists of a woman in a bikini or a woman in a snow suit or an object such as a hand bag for commercial purposes, my job is to take images of a person or product and to make sure my images are professional, commercial and appealing to whichever market I am shooting for; so the thought of being put in a box and labelled is both amusing and insulting.

It is my belief and the belief of most women I have asked, that both woman and men are drawn to sensual imagery; so now I incorporated glamour with my fashion in a lot of portraiture and commercial campaigns if I believe it is what the client is after.

The end result is more European and in Australia is not seen too often; we tend to be more conservative than the Europeans; the end result I try to achieve would be similar to that of a Victoria’s secrets shoot or a Guess campaign –sexy and alluring not cheap and lewd.

Models who choose to do glamour modelling find the stereotyping is extremely harsh. The harsh reality is modelling is a difficult industry and if you do not fit the height or size requirement or are to curvy there is no way an agency will take you on for fashion, these girls/woman generally do better in the glamour category, again glamour covers many genres an example I would use is swimwear; put a curvy glamour model in swimwear and you have glamour-put a tall and slender model in the same swimwear and it’s fashion; quite a slippery slope. The Fashion world and models think of the word glamour as a ‘dirty’ word yet 95% would jump at the opportunity to do a Guess campaign or be a part of a Victorias secret fashion show!
My advice to up and coming models is to research the different types of modelling which suits your own measurements if not tall enough for fashion and runway there is always editorial and commercial print available for models with the right features

 Ed Hardy Australia

and for those who are over 18 and still like the traditional glamour-swimwear is always sellable for right look and figure type for calendars, fitness, print and stock photography.

What is Fashion or Editorial Photography?

The terms “fashion photography” or “editorial photography” are often used without knowing what they really mean. So we did some research on this terms and found some interesting definitions that we’d like to share with you.

Fashion Photography

For the term “fashion photography” exist a lot of different definitions. Microsoft’s Encarta says:

“Fashion photography is the art or practice of taking photographs of models wearing clothes or clothing accessories, especially for fashion magazines.”
(Source: Microsoft Encarta)

This definition is short and incorporates the term “art” which is an attribute most photographers love to describe their work. It is even applicable to the upcoming trend to nudity in fashion photography. Famous fashion magazines like “LOVE” are showing editorials with top models like Natalia Vodianova, Lara Stone or Naomi Campbell in classic nude art manner with less clothes than the bunnies in the playboy magazine. Why is this also fashion photography? Because the models have at least shoes on or some jewelry.

We’ve also found some interesting discussions on the topic what fashion photography is. Some people interpret the term “fashion” broader not just in the meaning of clothes and accessories. They add lifestyle aspects to it’s meaning. It reflects how we live today, in the past or in the future. We really like this approach as it allows to handle fashion photography in a more creative way. There are almost no boundaries anymore.

And

Editorial Photography

The definition of editorial photography is even more confusing than it is for fashion photography.

One try is to explain editorial photography as the photography that appears in newspapers and magazines that is not advertising photography which means it is financed by the newspaper or magazine, but not by their advertisers. But “financing” isn’t always clear especially in fashion editorial photography. The photographer, models and other staff often work for free to get published and collect tear sheets. The designers give their clothes for free, but want to be mentioned in the text. This could be considered as advertising, right?

Some people say editorial photography is the type of photography that supports the printed word, i.e. in the magazines as part of a feature, seperate from the “hard news”. Most fashion editorials in magazines don’t have text other than the credits. So shouldn’t they considered as editorials?

The editorial photographers organization in California give an explanation from a market perspective:

“Editorial refers to the market where the images will be used – primarily books, magazines, and newspapers – and, to a lesser extent, to the style of photography that appears in these venues. We use the term editorial to distinguish it from other markets like corporate, advertising, general commercial, or fine art. Most editorial outlets offer a fair amount of creative freedom, but also extremely low budgets compared to other venues.”
(Source: FAQ from the EP’s website)

So how do I get the confidence to work in this chosen career?
At icon studios with Peter trainer photography if you book for your portfolio and are the right applicant we will be upfront with you on which field of modelling suits your look and will help you gain the experience needed. A good photographer can always create beautiful images whether the client is a beginner or pro in front of the camera but reality is once you have your beautiful portfolio and you don’t have ongoing experience and confidence required by booking agents your career can quickly go down hill.
A model then generally will do FTP with any photographer to update her images regardless of quality which can then further harm her potential career.
we realise this which is why:
Once you do your portfolio with us if you have the required look- we will provide you with ongoing work through personal projects to update your portfolio as well as paid commercial jobs as models who have had their portfolios with us will always get first priority for any jobs that come in.
Models will get plenty of in front of camera experience to help with their confidence and posing and professionalism.
Advice on dealing with clients as when a commercial client is paying for your time a model needs to be very time efficient with completing the job to suit the clients budget.
Exposure to a model is everything! Therefore on personal projects you will always receive quality images to use for advertising yourself.
Also you will receive discounts on our workshops and in our hair and make up salon.
If you cannot afford to pay for your portfolio payment plans are available however conditions do apply
Payments must be made regularly and must not be missed if you cannot make your payment you must contact us to discuss your payment options.

Cosmetics Bodyography professional cosmetics

Eyelashes by Blync lashes

Below is an image from this years Icon Studios winter collection

Inspiration for this image came from many places, as this is a winter collection image we decided we wanted full voluminous hair cascading onto a winter coat.

3 sets of hairpieces in different colours were used to create the desired result, hair was blow-dried to have volume and set and finally slightly backcombed whilst still allowing movement. The result-glamorous hair.

Make up inspiration partly came from the iconic 60s legend Twiggy, Nude colours were used as well as those amazing eye catching lashes Twiggy became known for.

Cosmetics used to achieve this result are from Bodyography cosmetics.

Lashes were supplied by one of our sponsors Blync lashes and are AMAZING!

Blush and lip colour was a mix of baby pink and nude giving the face a flushed appearance reminiscent of cold winters.

Photography- A beauty dish was used with a honey comb grid, this was a 2 light set up with a top light to highlight the hair. Two black blockers were used either side of the model. This was enough to create some drama in the background. Finally airbrush time and the result stunning images-Both in colour and black and white!

A Big thank you to our amazing model Jo! A complete professional who arrived for her shoot despite feeling under the weather with the flu and did an amazing job.

For more info on hair/ makeup and photography keep an eye out for our upcoming workshops.

When it comes to modelling, your portfolio is your resume and showcases your work. Whether you are signed to an agency or are a freelance model, your portfolio is the most important tool of your trade and the most important aspect of your career.

Before you begin your modelling portfolio, it is important to know what type of modelling you can do. Freelance models have greater flexibility in this area but should focus on a main category that they will receive the most work in. If you do glamour or swim wear, then those are the types of photos you should have in your portfolio. High fashion models should have high fashion images in their portfolios- however a variety of different looks is always recommended. It is important however to be realistic, If you are too short for fashion, stick to commercial/print and lifestyle images.

Images

Use magazines and other publications as your reference guide for the types of images you want to include in your portfolio. This will help you get an idea of the type of shoot you’ll need to set up.

Agency models

For models signed to agencies, your agent will have a sit-down with you and advise you as to what types of images are needed in your portfolio. We recommend fashion models sign up with a variety of agencies in different States to ensure work keeps coming and is regular. Ensure agency is reputable!

Freelance Models

There are many online modelling communities as well as other outlets to seek photographers, hair dressers, makeup artists and stylists. Many of these online communities also post work in their areas so it is important to be vigilant and always seek work and advertise yourself in the best possible light. At Icon studios we take the worry away for you, all portfolio shoots booked at studio have access to all of the above and once your portfolio has been shot your images are kept on file for us to refer you to our commercial clients for upcoming work.

Photography

Before we commence with shoots at Icon studios we prefer to meet with our client before the shoot to discuss the themes, concepts and/or looks you are going for. This way the client can explain what types of photos they’d like to try. From here we can organise locations, outfits, date, time, etc. If it is not possible to meet in person beforehand such as shoots with interstate or International models a phone conference will need to take place to discuss the above, then all necessary pre shoot information will be emailed to model. We do not respond to text messages- please email or phone.

Pre shoot

Make sure you have everything you need packed before your shoot so you don’t forget anything. All clothing should be packed as set’s and all bikinis, lingerie, jewellery etc should be placed in small bags.

You should have your hair and makeup professionally done to guarantee the best images. At Icon studios we have a fully equipped hairdressing salon and makeup bar. Our stylists are award winning with both hair and makeup and recently won runner up for Australian makeup artist of the year.

Important images

Once your photo shoot is complete all images will be uploaded to our online gallery in order for you to pick the best of the images you like for airbrushing. You want to make sure to have the following amongst your images: headshot, ¾ body shot, full body shot. You’ll want different outfits and locations to show diversity as well. Play with poses and give a variety…if you have the same poses over and over your portfolio will be boring.

Portfolio Case/Presentation

We recommend an online model website with your portfolio-with today’s technology we believe more models are receiving work from online sources. Your digital portfolio will work for you worldwide 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Please contact us for more information.

For fashion models we recommend you also purchase a portfolio case we have a variety to choose from, prices range from very affordable to very expensive. It’s best to buy one that can hold between 15-20 8″x12″ photos. This is needed if your agency is to send you out for castings.

Tear sheets

As your modelling career progresses, update your images for your portfolio to reflect your most current work. In addition to regular modelling photos, include any tear sheets you get. These are pages taken directly from the published work you have appeared in. Tear sheets are important to a model’s portfolio because it showcases actual real work, which is impressive to clients.

Pricing

We have an ala carte pricelist which individually prices all of your requirements, this way you can choose your hours, amount of images, airbrush if preferred etc once you have decided on this information we recommend you phone to discuss exactly what you are after- as most shoots can be made into a package to suit the model and come with discounts.

We thank you for your time.

Sydney trip Limited spaces . If you are interested in, one of these dates . Please read information below and e-mail me at peter@iconstudios.com.au

Rates:
Rates are based on estimated time and complexity of the shoot. Time is calculated for both shooting and post work. Obviously the more complex the shoot the more time it will take to complete. Being descriptive regarding the look and type of shoot you would like will help me in regards to quoting an accurate price. If your idea will involve considerable time in Photoshop, set building, prop gathering and location scouting etc. extra charges will apply

Booking:
To book a shoot and secure the date requires a non-refundable MIN $200 deposit. This will go toward your shoot cost. This fee generally ensures that the model shows up. You can reschedule your date up to the week prior to the initial date should something urgent come up. Those who do not give prompt notice or notice at all, potentially cost other paid bookings.

Prompt Communication:
Initial communication to arrange a shoot by messaging is fine. After that though, I will exchange my number to discuss details. It’s faster, immediate and allows for more detailed feedback. The quality of the shoot depends on all parties being properly prepared. I stay busy and don’t always have available time to articulate detailed messages that take an hour to type when I could say it all and more in 10 minutes. It’s just more efficient. Also when models tend to fall off from being prompt about communication it raises a red flag and may give reasonable cause to cancel the shoot.

Attention talented wardrobe/clothing designers and stylist. I love to try and make my photography unique. Having unique wardrobe is certainly a benefit. If any designers and stylist would like to contribute to upcoming shoots in exchange for use of the final image(s) please feel free to contact me in regards to collaborating.

Paid work and TFP:

My primary focus is on paid work which will take priority over any type of TFP considerations. While this implies that I am open to TFP, I am very selective with whom I’ll work with in these regards. A model should be bringing something to the shoot that is of tangible value. If she has substantial publishing credits that usually helps. In some cases a model may have the right sort of look I want for a particular shoot. I have a huge archive of past shoots so a model definitely needs to bring something new to the table for TFP considerations.

Rates:

Rates are based on estimated time and complexity of the shoot. Time is calculated for both shooting and post work. Obviously the more complex the shoot the more time it will take to complete. Being descriptive regarding the look and type of shoot you would like will help me in regards to quoting an accurate price. If your idea will involve considerable time in Photoshop, set building, prop gathering and location scouting etc. extra charges will apply.

Travel:

I use considerable amounts of lighting, grip and studio gear for my shoots. This limits my ability to travel via plane for a shoot. If you want me to come to you to shoot then expenses regarding travel, lodging and equipment rental would be required. For shoots that are in driving distance then gas and lodging expenses are expected to be covered unless it is a short drive then just gas will be factored into the rate.

Retouching:

I do all the retouching of my own images. However I have been getting more and more messages asking if I offer retouch services on other peoples work. My average rate for retouch is $50 per hour. Models will need permission from the photographers. I would prefer the RAW file as opposed to a jpg. I do pre post work tweaks in Lightroom and RAW provides more latitude for color and exposure adjustments than a jpg file. Also the quality of the retouch is only as good as the quality of the image to start with.

Turn around on images:

Typically you want the one best shot from any shoot for your portfolio. I will retouch the client’s choice of best shot as well as what I feel is the best shot. Average time between a photo shoot and delivery of images is approx. 4-8 weeks dependant on my workload. For further information please go to my website www.petertrainerphotography.com at this address you will find my blog which contains pricing and all other relevant information. My email address is peter@iconstudios.com.au

Thank you

Is your hair…
dull, dry and damaged?
curly, wavy or frizzy?
or just unmanageable?
Does it take far too long to style?

One application of KeraStraight puts an end to all of that.

Same day shampoo (no waiting 48-72 hours)

Low pH protein

Eliminates frizz

Straightens and repairs simultaneously

Benefits for all hair types

Lower iron temperature required

Lasts up to 4 months

Can be coloured 2 days before or after

KeraStraight has been designed to simultaneously repair and straighten and gives amazing benefits to all hair types. With the power of keratin, 22 carat gold and new low pH protein, the hair is left luscious, healthy, smoother and stronger and can last up to 4 months.

Keratin is a natural compound and is the protein that gives hair its strength. KeraStraight rebuilds the keratin within the hair that has been lost working on both the internal cortex and external protective layer, the cuticle. The result is hair that has added elasticity, strength, vitality and incredible shine providing a smooth, soft and straightened finish.

The process is fortified with the addition of nano-molecules of 22 ct gold which attract to negative ions within the hair producing the highest consistency enabling this gentlest of treatments to give the most stunning results.

//FAQs

What makes KeraStraight the first choice over alternative products?
This product is designed by hairdressers who understand the needs of both salons and clients. It also has the endorsement of some of the greatest award winning hairdressers who value the KeraStraight as not only providing the ultimate results but also in the fact that KeraStraight is completely and certifiably safe for the user and consumer.

Is KeraStraight a permanent straightener?
No, as KeraStraight is based on the hair’s natural protein keratin, it will gradually fade out of the hair.

Can KeraStraight be applied on pre-treated or coloured hair?
YES, KeraStraight can be applied to all hair types including highlighted, bleached, coloured and also on hair that has had no history of chemical services (virgin hair).

When can I colour my hair if I want to have a KeraStraight?
Hair can be coloured either 2 days before the service or alternatively 2 days after.

Can KeraStraight be applied on hair that has been permed, chemically straightened or relaxed?
YES, KeraStraight can be used on any hair that has had previous chemical services.

How long does KeraStraight keep the hair straightened, smoothed and repaired?
The benefits of KeraStraight last in the hair for a period of up to 4 months depending on the hair type. On hair that has had previous chemical services the results are more dramatic and last longer. With hair types that are natural with no chemical service history, KeraStraight results are better and last longer after subsequent treatments.

How long does the services process take?
Usually between 1-2 hours, depending on hair type and length.

When can I shampoo my hair after receiving the KeraStraight treatment?
Once the service is complete you can shampoo and treat your hair as normal on the same day.

Can I use styling products in my hair after KeraStraight?
YES, but our KeraStraight stylist may recommend an alternative styling product to best suit your newly repaired and straightened hair.

If I am pregnant or breast feeding can I safely have a KeraStraight treatment?
YES, KeraStraight is completely safe to use during pregnancy and while breast feeding.

When am I able to have the KeraStraight treatment again after the first application?
KeraStraight should last between 2 and 4 months, but can be re-applied after 30 days.

What after care is recommended to ensure best possible result are maintained?
KeraStraight recommends using only KeraStraight “Straight Maintain” shampoo and conditioner. These products are sodium chloride and sulphate free and have been developed to maximize the longevity of the KeraStraight treatment. They also contain the unique KS complex to support and maintain your treatment and protect against daily environmental stresses.

Warning – shooting with amateur/cheap photographers…

Recently I was reading a photography article that really got me thinking about pricing and educating our clients on photography.
One of the main points was changing our viewpoint of the weekend warrior photographer, the people that are out there shooting $300 amateur portfolios. I used to think about them like a lot of you do, “who cares if some Joe blow goes out and shoots $300 portfolio on the side, the work is poor quality and if client can’t see that there is nothing I can do”. I rarely spoke out to clients against these cheap photographers or to other industry people on the topic. When I worked for magazines I never spoke to the editors about this problem or asked them to write up about it. I basically just ignored it as something that was going on but wasn’t really a problem.

But some points, we should all take to heart and start to advocate against these amateur photographers. Really the worst thing about part time photographers doing professional bookings is that the client is the one that gets hurt.
They are entrusting a photographer to build their portfolio or to capture a moment in time they wish to remember instead they are going to have bad photographs. When their grandkids look at their photos on the computer (if they have backed up and archived that DVD they got) they will be poorly lit snapshots.
If a model is using poor photos as his/her model portfolio it will hinder their chance of being approached for professional work, if images are not of a high standard the model is not looked at in a high standard.
For this reason models must be wary on what images are used to portray them, these images are a decider with magazines and clients who may have booked model for a job; had she been portrayed more professionally with quality images by a photographer who knows his craft.
Just as important is the airbrushing after the shoot, I have lost count the amount of times I have not even recognised a new model once they arrive at the studio due to viewing images online previously where airbrushing was way “over the top”, or not choosing a model for a commercial job upon viewing photos over the internet because her photos do not show her looking her best or even like herself, all because he/she placed their trust in an amateur for both photography as well as digital enhancement or in this case un-enhancement!

There are many people that have had bad photos taken by amateurs and because of this also have a bad view on photography. They might never want to have professional photos taken again because they don’t know how amazing a true professional’s work can be.
Bad photographers put a stain on this industry and should be something that we all work to educate our clients and the industry about.
And I am really talking about part time photographers that don’t know the art of photography yet; they haven’t learned the true art of lighting, composition, etc… I don’t mean for this to be about part time photographers who have learned the art of photography and are committed to producing great work.
I know we all start somewhere, and when I finished up my degree in photography I didn’t go full time right away. I had a regular job to get by and did photography on the weekends. I did not take on my first paid job until I knew a lot about photography; I photographed friends etc in this time to hone my skills. I started working professionally when my art and skill was at a reasonable level and once I had acquired multiple camera bodies, lenses and flashes.
I have learned a lot since my first photo-shoot over 20 years ago and will continue to learn every day and every year, however when I took my first paid job I had years of experience already up my sleeve to ensure I could produce a standard expected of me by my clients.
Unfortunately, cheap photographers are dragging down the industry. They aren’t just affecting the clients they shoot for but as more and more cheap photographers come into the scene the pricing of photography will go down. Sometimes when pricing goes down due to competition that’s a good thing for the consumer and the industry but in this industry it really isn’t.
The main reason it isn’t, is because most amateur photographers don’t know anything about pricing and how to run a business. Full time professionals will eventually have to start to drop their prices because they feel the pressure to do so, and the next thing you know they are running their business at a loss. They close down shop and open the way for unexperienced photographers to enter the scene.
There is a very big reason why professional photography can be expensive; it’s an art form that takes a lot of skill and creativity to produce great work. It also takes a lot of money to run your own business. Once you take into consideration your own insurance, cost of goods, equipment, computers, employees, you quickly realize that a couple of thousand dollars for a shoot doesn’t mean that much in your pocket at the end of the year. The more that pricing is pulled down by amateurs, the more the real professionals that are trying to run their business legitimately are going to be hurt.
I care way too much about the art of photography to see it suffer any longer. Any chance I get, I will speak out about bad photography in the industry.
I am an artist, always have been always will be. I will always promote the art and professionalism in photograph; and will now be much more vocal about it.
As for all you weekend warriors out there, again this isn’t written to slam you. I want you to be inspired to create amazing work, take some classes before you take on paying clients. Take a workshop, read a book.
Learn the art of photography first, then shoot and charge as a professional.

a note from the client

a note from the client

As discussed earlier this evening, we will use both a brunette and blonde for the face of Loving Tan. In addition to the face of Loving Tan, we will also require 4-5 models for before and after shots. I am happy for the before and after shots to be of them in nice clothing. I would also like one of them in a bikini – but I will let you choose who has the best body for that as a before and after. The exposure the girls are likely to recieve by being the face of this exciting new tanning company will be as follows:

national press release this year with distribution to all major fashion, beauty, bridal and health magazines;

advertising and point of sale materials which will be distrubuted nationally;

the opportunity to represent the company at cosmetic and beauty trade shows; and

viral advertising campaigns accross internet including google and facebook.

Ideally we are looking for models whom we can develop a long term relationship with and new work will be required as new products are launched later this year. We may also have to shoot further point of sale material dependent upon retailer requirements. Any further work will be paid. For the initial shoot I am able to offer a Loving Tan gift pack valued at over $150.00.

Please e-mail me at peter@iconstudios.com.au

Leave a comment on the blog with your portfolio link or Facebook link etc makes it a lot easier for the client to have a look

Then use the above e-mail with a couple of images . Contact details measurements etc

Thank you
